Description

It has been very nasty here in Michigan because of the Canadian wildfire's smoke so not much imaging time for fainter objects. That along with the passing of my mom now on June 9th I decided to shoot some of the brighter objects and globular clusters are always a good choice not to mention I really like to image them. That said I shot this in dedication of my mom. RIP mom love ya!

M10 is estimated to be 11.4 billion years old and lies 14,300 light years away from Earth. It is it resides in the constellation of Ophiuchus and is estimated to have 100,000 stars associated in the cluster.
